The MeMO database contains inventories and descriptions of objects and texts that had a function in the medieval commemoration of the dead.
Searching and navigating through the database can be done in three ways:
- Browse database: search the database using filters; intended for global search
- Search database: search the database using a search form; intended to provide refined searches, for example by combining search terms
- Full text search: search the database by means of self-chosen terms and names; intended to search all fields
A search query provides an overview of the objects, texts and / or settings that meet the specified criteria. By clicking on a result, the relevant record is opened.
In this chapter several examples are included that are intended to explain the use of the database.
